Online Therapy in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Rhode Island
School, work and family can take you between states. I offer continuity within the four states where I am licensed.
One Therapist Across Four States
A semester ends, a job changes or a move comes sooner than expected. Those changes can interrupt therapy just when you have things to talk about. I work with adults who split their time around the Northeast, so a change of address within my licensed states does not have to mean changing therapists.
The Rule for Every Session
You must be physically located in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey or Rhode Island at the time of each session. Where I am does not determine whether we can meet. Your location that day is what matters, even if your permanent address is somewhere else.

Four States, One Ongoing Conversation
Connecticut
I see students, professionals and adults changing paths online in Connecticut. In-person sessions are also an option in Shelton.
Massachusetts
Students studying in Massachusetts can keep meeting with me when summer takes them to another one of my licensed states.
New Jersey
I work with professionals and adults who split time in New Jersey, including clients whose work and home are in different licensed states.
Rhode Island
Clients in Rhode Island can discuss school pressure, work changes or anxiety without starting with a new therapist after an eligible move.
When Your Week Crosses State Lines
School Year and Summer
If you study in Massachusetts and spend summer in Connecticut, we can continue online. Tell me about the change before our next appointment.
Home and Work
A lunch hour session from your office can work if you are physically in a licensed state and have a private place to talk.
Moving Mid-Treatment
Moving from New Jersey to Rhode Island does not require starting our work over. We can keep the goals and history we have already discussed.
Visiting Family
Check where you will actually be during a family visit. If you are outside the four states that day, we need to reschedule or meet when you return.
Keeping the Thread
Retelling your history takes time and energy. Continuing with one therapist lets us return to the thoughts, routines and relationships we have been working on, with the context already in place. A move can become part of the conversation rather than the reason it stops.
Tell Me Where You Are
Let me know your physical location at every session, including a temporary stay or an office instead of home. If plans change, text me about scheduling before we meet.
A Place to Talk Online
You need a private space, a stable connection and a phone or computer. Choose somewhere you can speak freely without roommates or coworkers listening. If privacy is difficult, bring that up while we plan your appointment.
The Shelton Option
If you prefer sitting in the same room, I also meet with clients in Shelton, CT. We can discuss mixing in-person and online appointments as your weekday daytime schedule allows.
Move for school, for work or for summer. Your sessions can move with you.
