Let’s Have a Conversation

Contact B Moore Counseling

You can call or email to ask about a free 15-minute consultation. We’ll talk about what you’re looking for and whether we’re a fit.

A Place to Begin

Request a Consultation

I know making room for therapy can bring up questions about time, cost, and what to say. You don’t need to put your whole story into your first message. A request to talk is enough to begin a conversation.

You can send a request with the form here, call, or email, and we can set up a free 15-minute consultation. I’ll confirm the arrangements with you; sending a request does not book an appointment.

Please keep clinical details for our conversation. In a crisis, call or text 988, or call 911.

Call Me

(203) 308-5030

You can call to ask about working together, daytime appointments, or a free consultation. Please use 988 or 911 for a crisis rather than this practice number.

Email Me

Email is a way to ask about a consultation or practical details. Please keep your message brief and leave clinical details for our conversation in a session.

Before We Talk

A Few Details to Help You Decide

Daytime Hours

I see clients on weekdays during the day. I’m a mom of three and don’t offer evening or weekend appointments. We can talk about whether a daytime appointment works with your school, job, or family schedule.

After You Reach Out

We start with a free 15-minute consultation about what brings you to therapy. If we decide to work together, the next appointment is a 60-minute intake. We review your history and set goals together before beginning regular sessions.

Costs and Timing

The intake fee is confirmed during your free consultation. Individual sessions are $175 for 45 minutes, weekly or every other week. I see clients using some insurance plans as well as clients paying privately. Bring questions about your plan to our free 15-minute consultation. Superbills are available for possible out-of-network reimbursement, but your plan determines coverage and reimbursement is not guaranteed.

Keep Personal Details for Sessions

Please don’t share clinical details by email or text. Between sessions, clients can text for quick updates, celebrating wins, and scheduling changes. Those messages are not for emergencies. Please give 24 hours’ cancellation notice; a missed session without notice is charged $100.

Immediate Support

In Crisis? Call or Text 988, or Call 911.

Please don’t wait for a practice reply if you need emergency help. The consultation form, email, and between-session texts are not emergency services. Call or text 988, or call 911.

School, Work, and Moving

Keep Your Location in Mind

If you move between Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Rhode Island, our sessions can continue. Let me know which state you’ll be in for each appointment. That includes changes between a school-year address and a summer address, or living in one state while working in another. Your physical location during the session is what matters, rather than your mailing address.
